Paradise Tree Snake at SBWR
18 Sep 2010
Danny Lau
There was a pair of these snakes on one of the platforms. Here's one of them.
Tan KH
Here's the two of them together. Not sure if they are a mating pair as the one on top is smaller.
Painted Bronzebacks
16 Sep 2010
Tan KH
By sheer coincidence, a Painted Bronzeback crossed my path at Woodlands and another at Khatib Bongsu on the same day! No photos as I was without my camera. Besides, the snakes were fast to slither into the undergrowth.

The native Whitespots (Aplocheilus panchax) are so called due to the white spot on the head. They co-existed quite well with the introduced Guppies (Poecilia reticulata) in a small stream. The brightly-coloured one is the male.

Danny Lau
We could have walked pass this well-camouflaged Oriental Whip Snake.
Tan KH
There were three of these Flat-tailed Geckos hanging around at the canteen. This Orange Mud Crab would alternate between hiding underwater and resurfacing a few minutes at a time.
