These Urothemis Signata like fast job... hard to catch them in midair. Ictinogomphus decoratus looking on from a lonely perch.

This immature male Agriocnemis femina damselfly mistaken a stick as a mate.....big mistake :)))

20 Nov 2009
Ben Lee

Took this photo while wating for the Blue-and-White Flycatcher at Bt Batok Nature Park on the morning of 20 November 09 (Friday).

A flying draco suddenly appeared out of nowhere probably sky gliding and landed on the botak tree which I am aiming my bazooka for the bird. It started to display its territorial presence or making his appearance to the female mate nearby with its beautiful yellow-chin flapping. I swifly change my angle of my lens instead of the bird to the draco for once, press my triggle and there it goes.

At Venus Drive, amongst the creepy-crawlies were these tiny termites and a 5-cm-long millipede.

These Saddle Barbs were common in the streams. At Kranji Resort, three Common House Geckos stayed for some close-ups. Here's one of them.

At Sungei Buloh carpark, a Banded Bullfrog was hopping on the road. Fortunately it got onto the grass patch before any hit-and-run could occur. As we walked towards the main bridge, a lady was observing an Oriental Whip Snake.

There are three species of Vinegar Crabs in Singapore. Here are the Violet Vinegar Crab (left) and the Pink-fingered Vinegar Crab (right).
